I finally made it back to Germany 35 years after I was born here.  This photo is taken at the begining of a church history tour I took in 2014.

Start Run Finish Ministries

Rev. Bryan Gilde

Hello!  I hope you find this web site very helpful in your walk with Christ.  My goal here is to first of all provide resources for those I know and love who are hungering for more in their Christian walk--these are the self-feeders who are disciplining themselves to grow in His grace. Second, I want to be a sincere voice that calls the church to the true nature of being a Christ follower--if you claim to have started the race, then run it, for only those who finish the race are qualified for the prize.

I am 45 years old, have been joyfully married for 21 years and have two enthusiastic and beautiful daughters.  I grew up in a Christian home and surrendered my life to Christ at an FCA camp in middle school.  I was not living a life that was pleasing to God and I wanted to please Him and be saved from Hell.  My life and walk with God was especially influenced by the high school youth group ministry of my church and Campus Outreach at Berry College, where a passion and knowledge for Christ was deeply instilled in me by these leaders.

After farming for 5 years in the nursery business, the Lord helped me realize that I needed to do what I enjoyed the most—ministering to God’s people.  I was blessed to study at Southeastern Baptist Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary.  I am enjoying ministering to families by helping young men and women mature in Christ as I serve bi-vocationally at New Covenant Bible Church in Canton Georgia as the Associate Pastor to Students.  I am passionate about using the gifts the Holy Spirit has given me to instruct and encourage this local body of believers in their daily walk with God, and work with them to make kingdom disciples (II Tim. 2:1-2).

The views expressed are mine alone and do not represent the views of my employer or any other person or organization.

If you have started the race, then run it, for only those who finish the race are qualified for the prize.
